Methodology of Interactive Design and Study Using Driving Simulator
I.D. # | C1932 | Duration | 2 Days
This course is offered in China only and presented in Mandarin Chinese. Driving simulator is a key component of automotive interactive design, which can provide objective data to support both the effectiveness of design and user experience. On the other hand, driving simulator and the design of its experiments are major challenges, as improper experiment design will lead to consequences such as failure in identifying designing errors of the interactive design itself. Therefore, this course will mainly introduce the technological approaches to driving simulators such as experimental methods, process, design and data analysis, and try to achieve the best learning results through actual experiments on driving simulators. |

Doctoral Supervisor, Interactive Design Major, Department of Computer Science, Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden Chen Fang graduated from the Department of Biology in Peking University in 1983. Since then, she has been working in Sweden on studies of human- machine interaction and ergonomics. Her research covers a wide range of fields, including the interactive design of fighter cockpit, the interactive design of public safety facilities, websites, APPs, games and so on. For the past 14 years, her main focus has shifted to the interactive design in vehicles. She has published more than 100 articles in international magazines and conferences, and holds a tenure position as professor in Chalmers University of Technology. As a world expert in the field of automotive interaction, she has also participated in developing several EU standards in the field Part of her international positions
