Dimensioning of the Electrical Power Supply in Vehicles with Regular and Alternative Drives 2006-01-1221
The dimensioning of the electrical power supply in vehicles has become an important key factor. The simple calculation of current balances is not enough for the dimensioning of the electrical power supply. Simulations are necessary which represent the dynamic behaviour of the electrical system. The behaviour of the developed model of the vehicle electrical system is verified and evaluated by real data of test runs. Based on this model a software calculates the optimal parameters of the vehicle power supply dependent on characteristic load profiles and functions of an integrated active energy management.
