Experimental Study of Springback Emulation System with High Precision 2007-01-1383

The covering part of automobile takes shape by pressing process. It is very difficult to calculate the high precision rebound amount of the part, and it is rarely reported. The pressing process exists large strain and plastic yielding so the curve between stress and strain can't be obtained by normal machine. Because of the unavailability of the database in the current automobile manufacturing field which can be used to modify the rebound amount, we can only rely on numerical simulation and experiments to research automobile's covering part for its elastic modulus, yielding strength and harden law. The purpose of experiments together with the digital correlation method is to define characteristic constant of the complicated module's material, which can be used to correctly describe the hardening process of complex materials.
In the experiment the double-axis stretching test is done by the double-axis static-dynamic text machine. We rely on the digital correlation method to get the database of large strain of the material in yielding process and the characteristic constant of the complicated module's material in harden process. The equipment for the test is: (1) the double-axis static-dynamic stretching test machine (2) a computer , graphic card, CCD camera, software (3) some another equipment and so on. The standards of the equipment is in accordance with the normal standards.
