The Low Silhouette Drive Line 560036

PASSENGER-CAR styling considerations demand a low silhouette. The drive line must be lowered to provide reduced height. Several possible configurations could be used to achieve this, but each is limited by the excitation which can be absorbed without objectionable disturbances.
These effects are explored in so far as they vary with drive-line revisions and practical limits established. This permits comparison of possible drive-line arrangements as they affect lowering of the car.
