The Development of a Computer Program for the Analysis of Suspension System Characteristics in the Initial Design 912560

THIS PAPER presents a in-house computer code which can be used properly in the conceptual design period. For the mathematical modeling of a suspension, D'Alembert's variational equations of motion for a system of rigid bodies are formulated. The comparison of the results from this code and ADAMS are compared and the typical supension characteristics are shown for a benchwork case.
