HID System with Adaptive Vertical Aim Control 980003

A high intensity gas discharge headlight with integrated adaptive vertical aim control is presented. The goal of adaptive vertical aim control is to automatically adjust the vertical angle of the headlight depending on the load of the automobile and the driving conditions. This improves driving comfort and reduces glare for oncoming traffic. The advantages of HID systems include efficient, well distributed light. The integration of adaptive vertical aim control results in weight and volume reductions without compromising the performance of either system.
