Battery Recycling is an integral part of the lifecycle management of vehicles. Currently there is a lack of recommended practices and standards for automotive battery recycling. Materials contained within batteries may be regulated as hazardous. Proper recycling will minimize/eliminate the need for disposal of spent batteries.
